Return/Refund Policy

Because of the perishable nature of our products, no returns will be accepted at Maeker’s Sausage & Processing. We take great care to ship frozen products that are properly packed. If an error is found to have been made on the part of Maeker’s Sausage & Processing, please feel free to contact us to discuss the replacement of your damaged product.

The receipt of your goods from the carrier is totally the responsibility of the customer and proper planning should be done in order to ensure safe receipt of your products. Most orders are shipped using 1-2 day shipping through UPS, so please note your tracking and guaranteed delivery times. Packages should be refrigerated promptly and products that will not be consumed within a few days should be frozen to maintain freshness.

Shipping Policy

Maeker’s Sausage & Processing will ship goods using the carrier UPS. Because of the perishable nature of our products, 1-2 day shipping is mandatory. UPS Next Day Air®, UPS Next Day Air Saver®, UPS 2nd Day Air A.M.®, UPS 2nd Day Air®, and UPS® Ground, will all be shipping options to pick from. Only states within 1-2 day transit will be offered UPS Ground Shipping.

UPS Next Day Air is available; however, we DO NOT guarantee an order to be shipped the same day that the order is placed.  Please feel free to call the plant to inquire about product availability and shipping speed.  361-594-2172, ask for Lauren.

Frozen gels packs will help ensure the safe handling of your products. The products may arrive unfrozen but cold to the touch. These products are safe to consume and should be immediately placed in a refrigerated space. 

PLEASE NOTE: NOT ALL PRODUCTS ARE READY TO EAT! SOME MAY NEED TO BE COOKED TO AN INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF 160 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. PLEASE READ THE PACKAGES IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE IF COOKING IS NECESSARY OR NOT. 

All Shipments will ship via UPS, a physical address must be provided.  No shipping to P.O. Boxes will be possible. ONLY residential and business addresses will be acceptable. When shipping to a 3rd party, please let them know that the package is coming and when they can expect it so they can be prepared to receive the goods in proper condition. Lost or forgotten packages due to improper planning will be the responsibility of the customer and NOT Maeker’s Sausage & Processing.

Products will be shipped out Monday through Wednesday each week. Orders must be placed on Wednesday before noon.  If order is placed after noon on Wednesday, your products will be shipped out the following Monday. Because of the fragile nature of the products, we must not run the risk of the packages sitting extra days over the weekend with the carrier. 

We will try our hardest to fulfill orders in a timely basis, but some seasons are very busy. Certain orders may take an extra 5-7 days to fulfill if inventory must be restocked. We will do our best to make customers aware of the delay.

ALL ITEMS SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS ARE NOT FOR RESALE.  ALL ITEMS THAT ARE NOT STATE INSPECTED ARE FOR THE END-USER AND NOT FOR RESALE.
